PowerPack Master / Slave units
When the master socket is switched off by the key piece of equipment, all other sockets are switched off.
3 x individually fused sockets, 1 x master, 2 x slave
Through the use of Master and Slave sockets, this unit provides an energy saving solution to equipment that is usually kept on standby.
The PC Base Unit or main piece of equipment is plugged into the red Master socket, with auxiliary devices (printers, monitors etc) being plugged into the black Slave sockets. When the device plugged into the master socket is switched on, the slave sockets become live and supply auxiliary devices with power. When the master socket device is turned off, all slave sockets are also switched off, which conserves energy where sockets would usually be on standby.
- The master socket is coloured in red so that the user can easily identify a master socket from a slave socket
- The output of the unit is constantly live to facilitate daisy chaining to other power units.
- Power Pack units can be used with any of our wide range of Start leads, giving the option for customisation of lead lengths.
N.B. Image shows example of 4-way version (1 master and 3 slave sockets)
